Job Summary
As a Computer Vision Solution Architect, you will be a key technical leader, guiding projects from conception to completion with Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients to ensure they achieve success and derive maximum value from our solutions. Internally, you’ll collaborate closely with sales, product, customer success, and solution engineering teams. The role is highly cross-functional, at the crossroads of data science, product expertise, industry expertise and technical project management.
Duties/Responsibilities
Manage all technical customer facing activity for enterprise telecom & utilities customers: Drive success through close collaboration with the Sales team and Product team, through strong relationship-building, in-depth product knowledge, strategic planning, and flawless execution.
Quickly develop proof-of-concepts using Deepomatic’s in-house models as a key step of our sales process.
Prepare datasets, train neural networks, and evaluate performance metrics.
Design and implement end-to-end workflows, ensuring maximized production performance.
Participate in project management initiatives, holding regular customer meetings to address progress and issues.
Deploy solutions in the cloud, monitor system behaviour, and provide ongoing support.
Travel to and conduct on-site visits to assess customer needs and ensure technical feasibility.
Work with technology partners to ensure our solution interacted properly with the rest of our customers’ tool stack.
Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams: Take a proactive role in identifying, prioritizing, and tracking product improvement requests.
Within 1 month, you will:
Start mastering our platform, gaining hands-on experience with product components and internal tools.
Dive into all our customer use cases to see how our cutting-edge solutions are transforming their operations and understand the specificities of the telecommunications and utilities industries.
Complete your onboarding project via our online academy and a 1 week onboarding in our Office in Paris.
Within 3 months, you will:
Design and deliver your first successful proof-of-concepts for prospective customers.
Grow confident in your knowledge of our product’s key components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, gaining insights into the sales process and the technical execution of projects by shadowing solution engineers, solution architects and customer success managers during calls and meetings.
Within 6 months, you will:
Participate in the implementation of a Tier 1, Tier 2 enterprise account, by scoping and delivering a high-impact project.
Contribute to the development of internal tools or off-the-shelf models to improve productivity in the team.
Visit customer sites to gain first-hand understanding of how solutions are used in the field.
Within 1 year, you will:
Oversee the full-scale deployment of industrial-grade image recognition solutions, managing data science and architecture for major clients.
Be the go-to technical expert for customer success and sales teams, offering guidance on deep learning, dataset management, deployment architecture, and more.
Mentor new team members, helping grow the solution architect team and contributing to recruitment efforts.

Job requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent oral and written communication
Native or near-native French speaker is a plus
3 to 5 years experience with Python usage in data science.
Experience with machine learning, deep learning and computer vision.
Experience with data manipulation and visualization.
Interest in solving real-world problems: you love connecting and tweaking things to solve hard problems.
Great interpersonal skills and a strong team-oriented mindset.
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to new challenges and technologies.
Any experience with telecommunications, utilities and construction is a plus.
Comfortable addressing operational, business and technical stakeholders, from the field technician to the CEO.
A passion for business process optimization and problem solving.
Education
Bachelor degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or related field
Graduate / master’s degree in a similar field is a plus.
